Mr. Mansfield, an attorney, and Founding Partner of Mansfield, Bronstein & Cohen, PA
has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1995. He has served as chief executive and president of several public and private companies for more than twenty years.
Mr. Mansfield earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania; his J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law; and, his M.B.A. in finance from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. Additionally, Mr. Mansfield is currently pursuing his doctorate at Nova Southeastern University. Members of Mr. Mansfield's dissertation committee include distinguished professors Dr. Arthur Laffer, former member of President Ronald Reagan's Economic Policy Advisory Board, and the "Father of Supply-Side Economics" or "Reaganomics." Mr. Mansfield is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar since , a licensed real estate broker in Florida, and holds a General Securities Representative (Series 7) license issued by FINRA (formerly NASD).
Mr. Mansfield, a real estate developer, has been a principal of multiple entities which have acquired commercial, residential and multi-family properties. On behalf of these entities, and those of his clients, Mr. Mansfield has negotiated in excess of one hundred million dollars worth of bank loans, or modifications and renewals thereof, with both state and federally chartered lenders.
Prior to his career in real estate, Mr. Mansfield was employed as the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for National Medical Health Card Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NMHC), a leading pharmacy benefit management company with revenues approaching one billion dollars. Prior to this position, Mr. Mansfield was employed as the President and Chief Operating Officer of NMHC Mail Order, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical and mail order pharmacy, wholly-owned by NMHC.
Before joining NMHC, Mr. Mansfield was Director - Investment Banking at Capitalink, LLC, where he provided clients with strategic guidance and assistance in implementing mergers and acquisition, as well as debt and equity financings. He remains an Advisory and Investment professional at Barnett & Partners, LLC, a New York-based merchant bank dedicated to strategic advisory and wealth management services and specialty investment opportunities, and is a member of the advisory boards of HealthEdge Investment Partners, a private equity firm focused solely on the healthcare marketplace.
Mr. Mansfield has previously held senior management, and/or board of director positions at several healthcare companies including Best Generics., Inc. (sold to Ivax Corp. AMEX:IVX), Medical Containment Systems, Inc. (sold to ProxyMed, Inc. NASDAQ:PILL), ProxyMed, Inc, and PlanVista, Inc (NASDAQ:PVST). In the various positions he has held, Mr. Mansfield has helped these companies in raising capital through a variety of structures, including initial public offerings, private placements for private and public entities, and reverse merger transactions. Mr. Mansfield also provided many of these entities with the development of corporate strategic initiatives, as well as legal guidance.
Additionally, Mr. Mansfield donates his time by serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the non-profit organization, the Children's Bereavement Center, which provides support for children who suffer the loss of a parent or other loved one.
